2014 MNF’s ‘Rosemary Smith RN’ Memorial Golf Tournament
The 2014 Mass Nurses Foundation’s ‘Rosemary Smith RN’ Memorial Golf Tournament that benefits the Massachusetts Nurses Foundation Scholarship Program held on July 7, 2014 was another huge success! The Helicopter Ball-drop fundraiser, sponsored by PMac Lending, was the highlight of the day where the lucky ball (#116) raised $4,000 to the Mass Nurses Foundation Scholarship Program .
The weather was perfect for our event host sponsor Cavallo & Signoriello Insurance and the 120+ golfers who came out Monday, July 7th to the Indian Pond Country Club for the Rosemary Smith, RM Memorial Golf Tournament. We had some serious competition and rivalries building throughout the day. The course was well received in it’s inaugural hosting of this long time event.
After the event we rejoined in the Blackstones Room for our post-event festivities, which included raffles, a silent auction and a remarkable guest speaker. Our guest speaker, Brenda Pignone, RN, sponsored by McDonald, Lamond, Canzoneri & Hickernell, emotionally engaged with our attendees with an incredible description of what it was like to be ‘On Both Sides of the Bed’ as a 30+ year Registered Nurse and a Breast Cancer Survivor.
We want to thank all of the honorable sponsors, their guests and the combined participation efforts of the Mass Nurses Association and their highly dedicated staff for making this a success!
