2015 MNF’s ‘Rosemary Smith RN’ Memorial Golf Tournament
The 2015 Mass Nurses Foundation’s ‘Rosemary Smith RN’ Memorial Golf Tournament that benefits the Massachusetts Nurses Foundation Scholarship Program was held on June 15, 2015 ! The Helicopter Ball-drop fundraiser, sponsored by pmac Lending Inc, was again a success where the lucky ball winner was awarded up to $1,356 and raised over $5,424 for the Mass Nurses Foundation Scholarship Program .

It was a soggy day of golf at the beautiful Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, MA (www.indianpondcountryclub.com). The event included a 4-person scramble, box lunch and awards receptions following the golf.

About the Foundation The Massachusetts Nurses Foundation is a nonprofit organization, established in 1981, whose mission is to support scholarship & research in nursing. The primary goal of the MNF is to advance the profession of nursing by supporting the education of nurses and healthcare professionals. www.massnurses.org
The foundation provides:
• Scholarships & grants to nurses and students of nursing
• Administration of scholarship funds for alumni associations, schools of nursing, organizations, foundations & individuals interested in nursing
The MNF raises funds and dispenses scholarships & grants to qualified recipients who have applied for assistance to further their careers or study clinical issues that are essential to the improvement of healthcare.
Rosemary Smith, RN, throughout her career, was a Board member and supporter of the Massachusetts Nurses Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises money for nursing scholarships. Smith was a tenacious fundraiser for the organization, personally raising thousands of dollars to support the education of new entrants to the profession she loved.
